For me, each video consists of a grey box captioned with, “This playlist is empty, or the video’s were not found.”

Great to have access to a digital source. Many, many years ago I was fortunate to be at a Blockbuster Video store when they were having their very first ever sale of previously viewed VHS cassettes. I found all but one or two of the HOLLYWOOD series for .99 cents each…and needless to say I snapped them up! They still had their original boxes intact. I still have them, along with a copy of GREED which I probably got the same day for the same price.

Your question was sent on the wrong address, it should be posed to the YouTube user who uploaded Kevin Brownlow’s documentary series. Besides, Hollywood (1980) is commercially unavailable, are you sure Mr. Brownlow has anything against this YT upload? Different versions of certain episodes have been on YT for years. Anyway, YT has clear guidelines regarding copyright infringement: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622?hl=en

The image at the top is from the production of a SOUND film from 1932, “One Hour With You”.
